The exhibition, titled Queen Elizabeth II by Cecil Beaton: A Diamond Jubilee Celebration will depict her many roles as “princess, monarch and mother”.

This exhibition is right up my street, as you would expect! I'm always interested in how other photographers work - it's what makes them unique and of course with this one is the added dimension of a familiar subject and the challenges connected with that. I've often wondered what it would be like to be someone's personal photographer and how you would refresh the creative juices once you'd worked with them a while and a level of predictability had set in. Or maybe it would allow you to be more creative because a trusting relationship had been established.
